Domenico Santaniello Quartet Finally - Zola Jazz&Wine

On Friday, June 13 at Cantina Gaggioli in Zola Predosa, as part of Zola Jazz&Wine, there will be a concert by Domenico Santaniello Quartet entitled Finally.

After more than two decades of intense musical experiences and prominent collaborations in the worlds of jazz and popular music, Campania-based double bassist Domenico Santaniello releases his first solo album, entitled Finally. Sharing this new recording adventure with him are three trustworthy and valuable musicians: pianist Marcello Tonolo, Australian drummer Adam Pache - by now a stable presence on the Italian music scene - and, for the live occasion, young and already highly appreciated saxophonist Andrea Pimazzoni, who takes the place of Alfonso Deidda, who was present in the recording of the album.

Finally is a carefully crafted project, reflecting a long artistic gestation and deep musical maturity. The album brings together largely original compositions by Santaniello, written over the years, and is an inspired, coherent and nuanced work.
