Giovanni Pierotti - Circolo della musica di Bologna

On 11 May at 6 pm, Giovanni Pierotti will perform at the piano.

Pierotti, born in the province of Pisa in 2006, approaches the piano at an early age through a playful and improvisational approach.

In 2019, he began studying the instrument with Patrizia Minuti. He has participated in Masterclasses with Roberto Prosseda, Giuseppe Albanese, Alessandro Marangoni, Pasquale Iannone, Marco Sollini, Salvatore Barbatano, Luca Rasca. Overall winner of the Steinway Piano Competition for Young Talents 2023, he represented Italy at the 20th Steinway International Festival in Hamburg. He won 1st prize overall cat. E at the 13th International Piano Competition A. Baldi in Bologna, 1st prize at the 35th National Piano Competition J. S. Bach - City of Sestri Levante, 1st prize at the LAMS Matera 20th International Festival-Contest for Young Musicians and 2nd prize at the 11th International Music Competition City of Florence.
