Bologna
Philip Corner's interest in theory leads him to the profession of teacher, high school and university. As a pianist and trombonist he performed works by many contemporary composers, from Ives and Cowell to Cage, Feldman, Brown, including his peers and those of later generations. Member, not to mention cofounder of historical groups like "Fluxus", the Judson Dance Theater, Tone Roads Ensemble, Experimental Intermedia Foundation; Sounds Out of Silent Spaces and the most recent Gamelan Ensemble "Son Of Lion", a demonstration of his intercultural research activity.
