The Carnival of Wonders (Carnevale delle Meraviglie) is a historical re-enactment of the carnival celebrations of 19th-century Bologna. Alongside entertainment, games and dances, with 80 dancers from 8cento APS dressed in historical costumes, the programme at Palazzo Pepoli will be joined by workshops, shows and theatrical visits on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 March 2025 alongside the grand ball in Piazza Minghetti.
Balanzone and the other masks, Fagiolino and the puppets will be the protagonists of the carnival celebrations in Bologna.
