On 11 July 2025, the Castle of Mongiorgio, in collaboration with the FAI, invites you to spend a day among art, music and beauty, where the charm of history meets the magic of live music.
On the occasion of an extraordinary opening, it will be possible to take part in guided tours of the castle, a precious opportunity to discover suggestive views and fascinating stories kept within the ancient walls. Making the experience even more enthralling will be the staging of “La barca di Venetia per Padova”, a lively musical comedy from 1623 by Adriano Banchieri, a Bolognese composer of great refinement. The Flos Musicae ensemble, formed by young musicians under 30, will perform the opera in Renaissance costume and with period instruments, giving the audience a true musical journey into the heart of the 17th century. An event that combines talent, historical research and passion in a unique setting.
At the end of the evening, a convivial toast with all participants to celebrate together an unforgettable experience in a relaxed and evocative atmosphere.
