A recital that brings architecture and pianistic imagination into dialogue: Amir Salhi explores the density of the “Chaconne” in the Bach/Busoni transcription, a work that combines formal rigor with sonic power, and then moves into Chopin’s universe, where intimacy and narrative momentum coexist. From the Nocturne Op. 48 No. 1 to the large-scale forms of the Fantaisie (Op. 49) and the Polonaise-Fantaisie, the program traces a journey through inner lyricism, virtuosity, and expressive freedom.
