The Gelato Museum in Anzola dell'Emilia (BO) celebrates its 7th birthday on September 28 with tastings, free guided tours, fun workshops for families. One of the new features of the Museum is the location where visitors can test their sight, touch and smell with the "sensory games" made in collaboration with the Centro Studi Assaggiatori di Brescia, the most advanced research unit on sensory analysis in Italy that every year carries out thousands of tests on the perceived quality of products and services. Visitors will recognize the qualities of a good gelato under the guidance of an assistant from Carpigiani Gelato University who will present the characteristics of taste and structure to be recognized at each tasting. Carpigiani Gelateria dedicates a special menu to the museum's birthday: Carpigiani's classic cream and chocolate soft gelato to accompany a crunchy grain and chocolate cone. Il compleanno del Museo rientra all’interno del progetto “Emilia Romagna Open. Alla scoperta delle imprese e dei laboratori della regione” promosso dalla Regione Emilia Romagna in collaborazione con ART-ER. Le imprese grandi e piccole, i laboratori di ricerca industriale e le eccellenze del sistema dell’innovazione regionale apriranno dal 26 al 29 settembre 2019 le proprie strutture a tutta la cittadinanza, per avvicinare il pubblico ai luoghi della ricerca e della produzione.
