On May 31, Effetto Blu will take place — a special event dedicated to highlighting the value of the Chiusa di Casalecchio and the Canale di Reno. It will be a day open to all, designed to offer an up-close experience of these symbolic sites through activities that combine nature, culture, and moments of togetherness.
The program includes guided tours, bike rides, puppet shows, live music, tastings, and “blue-themed” aperitifs, bringing energy and life to the banks of the Reno and to areas normally closed to the public.
Effetto Blu is an invitation to citizens, families, visitors, and the simply curious to rediscover the beauty, functionality, and cultural importance of one of Europe’s most significant hydraulic systems — still fully operational and harmoniously integrated into the surrounding landscape.
