Gospel music arrives in the Appennines in one of the most magical nights of the year. At 9 pm on Sunday 23rd December, the appointment for lovers of these involving sounds is the amazing setting of Castel dell’Alpi, famous of its lake which will be the backdrop to the evocative Christmas Concert organised by the Foiatonda community cooperative in collaboration with the San Benedetto Val di Sambro Municipality and Unione dei Comuni dell'Appennino Bolognese. The Armônia gospel choir from Bologna, whose spiritual singing activity has been going for over 30 years, bringing the famous early 20th-century American gospel atmosphere to the whole of Italy, will perform in the church of San Biagio. The event combines Christmas spirit and authentic Apennine flavours: at 7.30 pm, in the historic Locanda Belvedere, you can enjoy a set-price dinner featuring polenta montanara and local products.
