Apennines
Tartufesta is the traditional festival held in the months of October and November, enlivening the towns of the Bolognese Apennines with markets, exquisite menus and other initiatives focused on the ‘fine white truffle of the Bolognese hills’. Every year thousands of visitors are welcomed by the locals into Appennines' landscape, culture and -of course- food and wine tradition. The most prized product of this area, the white truffle of the Bologna hills, is the protagonist of the many events, including street markets, tastings held by producers, exhibitions, food stands, truffle dog competitions, conventions and themed meetings. An original way to spend a memorable weekend among the aromas and flavours of this land. The initiative, coordinated and promoted by Città metropolitana di Bologna, takes place in 14 towns of the Bolognese Appennines Here the dates and places of Tartufesta 2019: 12-13 October - Tartufesta a Lizzano in Belvedere 12-13 October- Tartufesta a Porretta Terme (Alto Reno Terme) 13 and 20 October - Tartufesta a Monzuno 19-20 October - Tartufesta a Castiglione dei Pepoli 19-20 October - Tartufesta e Agricoltura a Castel di Casio 19-20 October - Tartufesta a Pianoro 20 October - Tartufesta a Vergato 20 and 27 October - Tartufesta a San Benedetto Val di Sambro 26-27 October, 1-3 November - Tartufesta a Sasso Marconi 27 October - Tartufesta a Loiano - "Festa nel bosco" 27 October and 1 November - Tartufesta a Monghidoro 1-3, 9-10 and 16-17 November - Tartufesta a Savigno (Valsamoggia) 2 November - Tartufesta a Borgo di Campolo (Grizzana Morandi) 10 November - Tartufesta a Grizzana Morandi 10 November - Tartufesta a Camugnano .
