Green Asparagus Festival of Altedo PGI

From May 8 to 22, 2025, the Green Asparagus Festival of Altedo PGI returns to Altedo di Malalbergo—a special occasion to celebrate one of the finest products of our region, a true symbol of quality and authenticity.

This year, the event will be made even more enjoyable with the cheerful presence of Ghino l’Asparaghino, the festival’s new mascot, who will accompany both adults and children throughout the event.

The organizing association has put together a rich program of activities to promote this well-established tradition. At the heart of the event is the “Tuttoasparago” restaurant, where guests can enjoy asparagus-based dishes for both lunch and dinner, with takeaway options available as well.

Among the most anticipated moments are the “Serate d’autore” (Chef’s Nights): four special dinners during which renowned chefs will craft creative dishes dedicated to the king of the festival—the Green Asparagus of Altedo.

Don’t miss the two big “Asparagus Nights”:

• Saturday, May 10 – a ’90s Rewind Night with music and dancing in Piazza XXV Aprile

• Saturday, May 17 – an evening of late-night shopping, live music, Miss Italia selections, market stalls, and roaming performances

Sundays, May 11 and 18, will also be packed with events: a Sunday market along pedestrian streets, stalls, music, children’s entertainment, and street performances will fill the town center with energy.
