La Pera a Galliera

From Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September 2026, Piazza Eroi della Libertà in San Venanzio di Galliera (Bologna) once again hosts an event dedicated to promoting and supporting pear growing and, more generally, local agriculture. The event is organised by Pro Loco Galliera and the Municipality of Galliera, in collaboration with the agricultural associations CIA, Coldiretti and Confagricoltura.

For three days, Piazza Eroi della Libertà in San Venanzio will be filled with local and traditional products, exhibitions, dance performances and entertainment for children, vintage cars and motorcycles, agricultural vehicles, A-Peri-Tivo aperitifs and a food stand, also open for Sunday lunch, offering a wide range of pear-based specialities and more.

The event also includes the Sapor di Pera conference, dedicated to promoting pear-based cuisine, with talks and culinary proposals from representatives of some of the most important initiatives devoted to pears and their promotion in Emilia-Romagna and other Italian regions.
