Artisanal Ice Cream Festival

The wait is over: the Casalecchio di Reno Artisan Gelato Festival is here. It starts on July 21st and it is the 18th edition of the tastiest event of the Bolognese summer. An event capable of attracting thousands of visitors every year from all over Emilia Romagna, but not only. Lots of excellent artisanal ice cream, but also a vast and refined gastronomic and street food proposal accompanied by an extraordinary roundup of events based on music, dance and performances not to be missed.

The ribbon cutting of the event is scheduled for Friday, July 21st, at 8 p.m. on Via Marconi, at the height of Piazza della Repubblica, with the Municipal Administration of Casalecchio di Reno represented by the Mayor Massimo Bosso and Ivan Aldrovandi, president of the organizer Società Eventi.

There will also be the Bicycle Ride of Taste "Between Taste and Colors": on Friday, July 21st and Saturday, July 22nd, a nice ride in the company of AVIS, enjoying an ice cream at each stop to vote for the "best and most beautiful" taste that will be awarded on the evening of Sunday, July 23, 2023.

Also this year, in the "parcheggione" of the Casa della Conoscenza, the central stage will be placed for the 3 highlight concerts of the festival along with the food square. Tuscan grill, Abruzzese arrosticini, Brazilian specialties, stuffed crescentine, beer gardens, southern specialties, fish restaurants and especially, ice cream parlors from Casalecchio di Reno and surrounding areas.
