Every Friday, starting September 6, food education workshops for children ages 10 to 13 will be held free of charge by Slow Food at Grand Tour Italia.
Participants will explore the principles of a balanced diet, the importance of fresh, seasonal foods and the basics of preparing nutritious dishes through interactive activities and educational games.
The goal of these workshops is to stimulate curiosity about new flavors and provide practical and fundamental knowledge for healthy and conscious living, while also delving into topics such as the climate crisis, combating waste and the responsible use of water. It is an engaging educational experience that prepares young people to become informed and responsible adults about their food.
