Bologna
The exhibition, curated by Massimo Medica and Silvia Battistini, is dedicated to the old military company founded in 1162 and still existing in our city. For the occasion, some significant paintings will be displayed including eight Medieval boards part of two polyptychs now lost by Simone di Filippo known as ‘dei Crocifissi’ and Giovanni di Pietro Falloppi known as ‘da Modena’. There are also statutes, registers and other historical objects illustrating the activity of the company, which manages to fascinate the locals to this day.
