Re-Use With Love Odv, in collaboration with Photology, presents the photography exhibition Tazio Secchiaroli racconta Fellini – Fellini at Work, curated by Giovanna Bertelli, photography historian, academic lecturer, and curator of the Tazio Secchiaroli archive.
The exhibition will be open to the public at the Centrale Re-Use With Love – Giardini Margherita in Bologna:
The exhibition is part of the centenary celebrations of Tazio Secchiaroli’s birth (1925–1998), a pivotal figure in twentieth-century photojournalism and a privileged witness to the world of Italian cinema.
This show marks the first initiative of the series “L’Arte che aiuta” (Art that Helps), curated by Re-Use With Love Odv, dedicated to supporting local charitable projects and set to continue throughout 2026.
The exhibition presents a selection of forty-six vintage photographic prints from Tazio Secchiaroli’s personal archive, acquired by Photology in 1996, just a few years before the photographer’s passing.
All the works on display are original period prints, developed by Secchiaroli himself during the filming of Federico Fellini’s most iconic movies — 8½, Satyricon, Amarcord, City of Women — as well as in some private moments. Each photograph is stamped, annotated, and signed by Tazio Secchiaroli, making the collection not only artistically precious but also historically authentic.
The print sizes range from 18×24 cm to 30×40 cm, offering an immersive visual journey through behind-the-scenes moments and rehearsals.
On this occasion, the Cineteca di Bologna will support the initiative with a special screening of Federico Fellini’s 8½ on Saturday, November 8, at 7:30 p.m., at Cinema Modernissimo.
Photology will donate part of the proceeds to support the initiatives promoted by the association, thus concretely contributing to the charitable goals of the series.
Re-Use With Love Odv reaffirms its commitment to promoting art, memory, and beauty in all their forms, fostering inclusive access to culture while supporting solidarity-driven causes.
The exhibition is supported and promoted by the Department of Culture and Creativity of the Municipality of Bologna, a recognition that highlights the project’s cultural significance and its connection to the preservation of Italian visual heritage.
