“Simply The Best” is a photographic project dedicated to Ayrton Senna and set up in Castel San Pietro Terme (BO) from 16th December 2018 to 31st January 2019. The elements that have intertwined the lives of Senna and Angelo Orsi with Castel San Pietro Terme provided the idea at the base of the project, created in occasion of the 30th anniversary of Ayrton’s first world title (1988-2018) and of the 25th anniversary of his death (1994-2019). Angelo Orsi, a Bologna photographer and art director renowned on a global level, winner of multiple international prizes and historic photographer of “Autosprint” weekly publication, followed Ayrton Senna’s career up close. In this exhibition, he displays his shots with sensitivity and great care, showing the human and intimate side of Ayrton as a man, who he was also a great friend with.
