Invèl, in no place

From February 5 to 8, 2026, on the occasion of Art City 2026 in Bologna, the exhibition Invèl, in no place by the young Romagna-born artist Asia Galeati will take place in the large Central Hall of SBTT (Stile Bottega Architettura).

The exhibition will consist of two environments: an antechamber will open to the public with a diaristic installation of the artist’s tools, objects, and research reflections, rooted in her deep connection with memories of the past passed down to her through family stories told by her grandmother and muse, who introduced her to Romagna traditions, beliefs, and rituals. Her voice, in fact, will echo through the space, as if guiding visitors toward the second environment, where the work that gives the exhibition its title is revealed.

The imposing work, taking the form of a large bovine hide, will materialize that No Place in which two testimonies interact and sublimate one another—the direct testimony of the artist’s grandmother and the indirect one of the artist herself. Invèl will then be further refined with hemp thread by the artist during public opening hours: an operation that unites an act of care with a ritual of memory reactivation.
