From November 7, 2025 to January 11, 2026, it is possible to visit the exhibition Looking for Palestine by Forensic Architecture, hosted at Sottospazio – Palazzo Bentivoglio Lab.
Forensic Architecture (collective, United Kingdom) is a research center founded within Goldsmiths, University of London, which uses architectural and technological tools to investigate human rights violations and state crimes. The term “forensic architecture” refers to the production of spatial evidence in legal, political, and cultural contexts, and to the use of architecture as a device to investigate armed conflicts and environmental destruction.
Today, the group provides crucial evidence for international courts and works with a wide range of activist groups, NGOs, Amnesty International, and the United Nations.
In the project presented at Foto/Industria, it reconstructs the destruction of several Palestinian villages since 1948 through documentaries, maps, archival photographs, virtual models, and infographics.
Exhibition curated by Elizabeth Breiner and Shourideh Molavi with Francesco Zanot.
