From 5 to 8 February 2026, during the days of ART CITY Bologna 2026, ZonaZago7 will host Dove il mare e la terra si abbracciano (Where the sea and the land embrace), an exhibition that brings into dialogue the seas and glaciers of Luca Guenzi with the flowers and plants of Silla Guerrini. It will be an opportunity to discover what happens when people create within a shared space and where the value lies in what is generated together.
Silla Guerrini observes plants and records them. Luca Guenzi looks at the sea and paints it. They do not seek to explain; they present their artistic research in an authentic way.
Luca paints waves that crash into the face, seas as he sees them. Silla sinks her hands into the earth and draws out solid memory. Two different approaches in which art becomes encounter.
ZonaZago7 is a former railway workshop, now a community of people who come together to make art. A workshop where everyone can find their place and learn by listening with the heart.
At the same time, a collective action for those who wish to reflect and leave a trace of their own uniqueness.
Visiting ZonaZago7 means meeting two human beings who show what they see.
And perhaps it is an opportunity to see something different within oneself.
