How many streams of music flow in the city? What does it mean to move underground and try to emerge, to turn a dream into reality? On its 2nd anniversary, Sala della Musica will amplify the waves most consonant with this theme. In continuous motion takes a picture of the last decade of musical energies in Bologna, narrating the urgency of getting out of the cellars. Crossing styles, ages, horizons and success, the artists get involved to represent a broad and positively restless scene. The exhibition, curated by Riccardo Negrelli and Massimo Pastore, offers an inclusive soul for all the realities that are part of the area's current musical panorama, tracing a direct connection with the protagonists of the permanent exhibition itinerary. Initiatives promoted by the Culture and Creativity Sector of the Municipality of Bologna as part of the Bologna UNESCO City of Music actions. The Sala della Musica, on the second floor of the Salaborsa Library, is the first permanent exhibition itinerary in Italy dedicated to the history of popular music in a city. All initiatives are free to participate without reservation.
