From the 27th of January to 11th of February 2018, on the occasion of ARTEFIERA BOLOGNA and ART CITY WHITE NIGHT, the Bottegantica Gallery in Bologna will host the retrospective to celebrate Bruno Bani, a Milanese artist, who is one of the most original interpreters of contemporary analytical art. The exhibition, THE FUNDAMENTALS OF REALITY, edited by Enzo Savoia and Giada Forte, aims to investigate the creative steps of Bruno Bani in his process of formulating the founding elements of reality: mathematics and logic. This is one of the events of Lab / Contemporary, the project through which Bottegantica opens up to contemporary art. In this dialogue, the viewer is invited to investigate the space, an elementary term for each evolution. Through a plane and a few sinuous and circular lines, Bruno Bani creates a microcosm where everything becomes tangible and finite, in which complexity is transformed into essentiality.
