Stefano Laddomada, photographer, born in 1993, continues, with the "Batedo" exhibition, a personal visual research on photographic language, intended both as a documentation tool and as an interpretation of reality. In "Batedo" Laddomada continues his investigation through the natural landscape, urban planning and the water system that characterizes the territories - a journey that began a few years ago in a promised and difficult land like Chile - continued on this occasion, with the capital of Emilia-Romagna: Bologna, his "adopted" city for some time.
"Batedo" collects multiple points of view, which find an exceptional exhibition house: the Opificio delle acque, a documentary educational center, which explores the centuries-old link between the urban development of Bologna and the maintenance of the ancient hydraulic structures; as well as the headquarters of Canali di Bologna which manages, regulates and enhances the waters of Bologna. Laddomada follows the path of a visual research that relates the photographic medium, so inextricably linked to its certification matrix of reality, to the dimension of abstraction. And in this case, it is enough to mention two great Italian photographers such as Franco Fontana and Mario Giacomelli
