Alessandro Bergonzoni's work, The Negotiation Table, uses art to reflect on war and the possibility of transforming violence into actions of dignity and hope.
Bergonzoni envisions a symbolic table upon which the flags of countries in conflict are placed, including the rainbow and white flags, emphasizing not surrender but the restoration of dignity.
The table also serves as a place of "anatomical analysis," where the causes of war are explored and a commitment to peace is proposed.
The work honors those who have lost everything but continue to support the struggle for diplomacy and salvation, especially for refugees and immigrants. It is a call against indifference and for meaningful change.
