XXL Piazza Libera: music, sport, culture and socialising

Friday 24 January saw the start of XXL Piazza Libera, the Confcommercio Ascom project that won the tender promoted by the Municipality of Bologna to create a six-month continuous event with opportunities for meetings, cultural, sporting, educational and commercial offers, animating the area around the Cassero di Porta Galliera with new life every day and throughout the day with activities for young and old, for a square that is alive, safe, free and clean.

From week to week guided tours, solidarity markets, street games, sports and DJ sets. There will also be puppets and radio broadcasts, a skating rink, a children's carousel and a refreshment point. A new meeting and gathering place is born.
