Per essere sicuro is an exploration of the various genres of comedy, a succession of self-contained comedic pieces and absurd characters, all with one goal: the search for laughter. A laughter that frees the mind from thoughts, that reveals the positive madness in which we are immersed, and that leaves us with a new light in our eyes by the end of the show. The Sardinian comedy duo Pino e gli Anticorpi, consisting of Michele and Stefano Manca, accompanied on stage by a musician, returns to theaters with their most well-known characters, ranging from short monologues to television-style sketches, paying homage to the classic comedic forms of variety shows and sidekick comedy, eventually arriving at Clowning.

Michele and Stefano Manca have spent thirty years bringing their eccentric characters to theaters across Italy (as well as in France, Spain, and Germany), performing in squares, clubs, and television programs. They studied acting at the École Philippe Gaulier in Paris and Bont’s International Clownschool in Spain, teach performing arts, have written books, occasionally appear in films—basically, they do anything as long as it doesn’t involve working!
