On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 9:00 PM, the show The Talent of Being Everyone and No One starring Luca Ward will be staged at the Teatro Fanin in San Giovanni in Persiceto (BO).
He has been Pierce Brosnan, Russell Crowe, Hugh Grant and Samuel L. Jackson. Over the decades, Luca Ward has entered the collective imagination of Italians thanks to dubbing. Pulp Fiction, The Matrix and Gladiator are just a small part of the cult films to which he has lent his voice.
Gently and almost imperceptibly, Luca Ward has worked his way under our skin, and now undeniably resides in the DNA of each of us. But throughout his life, Luca Ward has been many things beyond a voice: sailor, stagehand, soda vendor, troublemaker, soldier, motorcyclist, father, and even John Wick in recent times.
Luca Ward has been everyone, no one, and a hundred thousand…
In his show, he will talk about his visceral relationship with the sea, the work he has done on himself as an artist, and, not least, his intimate and personal journey as a man, husband and father. Luca Ward jokes about the talent that made him famous (his voice) and tells us about his conflicted relationship with it… An interactive performance in which the fourth wall is broken and the audience becomes part of the show alongside “Commander” Ward, who will invite anyone willing to take on the challenge onto the stage. Those who step up will have the chance to experience the thrill of becoming a voice actor for a few minutes, under the guidance of Master Ward—and there will certainly be no shortage of surprises…
The talent of being everyone, the fortune of being no one. The ability and blessing to stand out and emerge, as well as the fortune of slipping gracefully into the shadows, creeping into the ears of the audience only to dissolve again. To disappear. Just like a magician. Or a sailor, in the open sea or in the depths of the abyss. Reaching the heart of the individual. Within each of us, thanks to the enveloping sound of his unmistakable voice.
A deep tone that drags us into the depths of the sea, just like the tentacles of a Kraken.
