On Friday, May 29, 2026, on the occasion of the 230th anniversary of Napoleon’s arrival in Bologna, 8cento APS organises a ceremonial evening at Palazzo d’Accursio, in collaboration with the Civic Museums of Ancient Art of the Municipality of Bologna, the historical group Les Grognards de l’Armée de l’Italie and the Maison Civile et Militaire Joachim Murat.
Historical re-enactors:
- Napoleon Bonaparte: Roberto Colla
- Joséphine Bonaparte: Maria Cristina Preti
- Joachim Murat: Nicolas Fermeaux
- Caroline Bonaparte: Fabienne Huet
- Special guest of the re-enactment: Prince Joachim Murat, heir of Prince Joachim Murat.

- 8:30 pm – Guided tour through the halls of the Municipal Art Collections, led by Silvia Battistini, Director of the Civic Museums of Ancient Art
- 9:15 pm – Key handover ceremony in the Farnese Chapel
- 9:30 pm – Grand ball with the dancers of 8cento APS in honour of Napoleon Bonaparte
The event is part of the 8cento APS project ai tre color pensando… dove il verde ridesta la memoria and is included in the 2026 Historical Re-enactments calendar of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
