On September 21, 2024, the historic center of Imola will return to celebrate ancient peasant traditions with the 40th edition of Sfujareia. This festival re-enacts the ancient ritual of shucking corn cobs on the threshing floor, accompanied by folk dancing and singing.
The event will offer exhibitions dedicated to rural civilization, live music, food stands, and of course the traditional shucking of the cobs. The renowned Polentari di Tossignano will delight your palate with their famous polenta.
