Fira di Sdaz

From September 6 to 8, 2024, the 16th-century Palazzo de' Rossi will host the Pontecchio Fair, an event that for over 300 years has celebrated an ancient ritual that brings to the stage the colors, sounds and tastes of peasant culture in a festival rooted in collective memory.

Craftsmen, artists, musicians and storytellers will move among the stalls, where the best local crafts will be on sale, including barrels, vats for fermenting wine and "sdaz", the essential sieves for separating flour from impurities.

There will also be shows, curiosities, typical products and food stalls, as well as re-enactments of some aspects of rural life, such as the presence of domestic animals and farm life.
