On Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 10:00 am, the Museum of Rural Life and Culture in San Marino di Bentivoglio (Bologna area) hosts the Threshing Festival - Open Day of Taste.
A day dedicated to wheat, a symbol of the land's fertility and a cornerstone of the food traditions of the Bologna plain.
The programme includes historical reenactments, performances, workshops, guided tours and the traditional farmers' market featuring local producers, organised by the Alveare di Cento purchasing group and the MeLA farmers' market of Cento.
The highlight of the event will be the historical reenactment of wheat threshing, organised by the Associazione Gruppo della Stadura and the Pro Loco di Loiano - Gruppo d’la Batdura.
The full programme is available here.
