Once again this year CondiMenti Jazz returns to the splendid setting of the Biagi D'Antona Theatre in Castel Maggiore, with the support of the Municipality of Castel Maggiore and the Reno Galliera Union in collaboration with Cantina Bentivoglio. On 7 November, starting at 5.30 p.m., a great afternoon of music awaits you with a performance by Jazzasonic, the band played by Dario Cecchini, the creator of Funk Off for over 20 years. The idea of the band was born thanks to Italia Jazz Club who asked Dario Cecchini to create a band to play his music during the two days of Il jazz italiano per le terre del sisma in L'Aquila. The intention is to enhance Dario's compositional skills in a different context from that of Funk Off. Dario calls on musicians he knows well and who he knows are versatile and capable of following his musicality, which starts with jazz but is inspired by all the currents of black music. The names of the musicians are well known: Claudio Filippini on piano and keyboards, Gabriele Evangelista on double bass and Stefano Tamborrino on drums, not only champions of their instruments but also versatile and expert connoisseurs of the many styles that today's music offers us. The band's concert in L'Aquila was a great success, hence the desire to continue it. The music is all original and composed by Dario who, as in Funk Off, remains tied to a very personal and wide-ranging melodic and harmonic concept.
