On April 25, numerous events are scheduled at the Monte Sole Historical Park in Marzabotto to celebrate Liberation Day. The initiatives have free admission and are linked to the themes of history, current affairs and memory: the aim is to remember and share the values of the Italian resistance and the principles of the Constitution.
Throughout the day, it will be possible to see photographic exhibitions and follow debates and interviews, as well as participate in concerts and visits to the Memorial.
The events will continue throughout the day and a road closure is planned from around 10 a.m. onwards. Monte Sole can also be reached by train (with the Bologna-Porretta line) as far as Pian di Venola, and then with the dedicated shuttle service (running from 9.30 am to 7.30 pm). Animals are not allowed on the shuttles.
For further information, please contact the event organisers at the dedicated email address.
