At the end of the first stage of the Via degli Dei there is one of the most suggestive points of the whole Bolognese hill: Monte Adone, one of the most panoramic and breathtaking points of the Pliocene Buttress Natural Reserve. With this evening excursion we will explore the area of Monte del Frate, to climb to the top of the sandstone peak and admire a splendid sunset between rock pinnacles and enchanting landscapes. We will escape the heat of the plain to enjoy the breeze of the hill and the light of twilight. At the end of the excursion, anyone who wishes can stop for dinner at the Brento restaurant. Ring route: Brento, Cà di Cò, Monte del Frate, Via degli Dei, Monte Adone.
Meeting point: 5.00 pm Old Trattoria Monte Adone (via Castellazzo 4, Brento di Monzuno - Bologna).

Notes: mandatory waterproof trekking boots, trekking poles, water (minimum 2 liters per head), hiking backpack, long pants, sunglasses, hat, headlamp and raincoat. Children over the age of 12 are allowed (if used to walking and accompanied by an adult). Dogs allowed if equipped with leash and muzzle.
