On June 9 in Bologna there will be a dance performance featuring several dancers dancing to the notes of Beatrice Rana and Massimo Spada.
A project juxtaposing live piano and ballet the one conceived by Daniele Cipriani, with musical advice from Gastón Fournier-Facio, entitled “Soirée Stravinsky/Rachmaninov.” Starring a world-acclaimed pianist Beatrice Rana, who will play four hands with Massimo Spada the original 1913 version of Igor Stravinsky's Sacre du Printemps for Uwe Scholz's choreography “The Rite of Spring,” reprised by Simone Repele and Sasha Riva: danced by Vienna State Opera prima ballet dancer Davide Dato.
Next, the two pianists will perform the original version for two pianos of Sergei Rachmaninov's Symphonic Dances Op. 45 for Simone Repele and Sasha Riva's choreography “At the End of the World,” with sets by Michele della Cioppa. Yumi Aizawa, Luca Curreli, Riccardo Ciarpella, Francesco Curatolo, Chiara Dal Borgo, Giulia Pizzuto, Chiara Ranca, Simone Repele, Sasha Riva and Parvaneh Scharafali dance.
