Bologna Creative City UNESCO now heading the Music subnetwork
The eighth annual meeting of the Unesco Creative Cities (CCN), held from 27th to 29th September in Chengdu, China, has just finished. During the assembly, Bologna has been appointed at the head of the Subnetwork for Music, one of the seven subject areas in which the Unesco Creative Cities are grouped: in addition to music, design, film, craft and folk art, gastronomy, literature, digital arts. After hosting the annual meeting of the network of the Creative Cities in September 2013, Bologna consolidates its leadership within this important international network. For next two years, Bologna will play a coordinating role in the subnetwork for music, therefore going to be part of the governing body of the network, the Steering Group, made up of a city for each thematic area.
