After the success of Viviani Varietà, Massimo Ranieri and Maurizio Scaparro deal with the great playwright Raffaele Viviani again, with his poems, words and music. They bring to the theatre a portrayal of Naples which is the same sketched a century ago by Viviani with love and irony, but also with cruel realism. What is staged is the theatricality of emigrants, gypsies, fishermen, guappi, gagà, cocotte, prostitutes, in a word, the world of the street, that is that world which first and most strongly struck the Artist's imagination.
