Bologna
The exhibition “Sensornaja Revolutija” (Sensory Revolution) is inspired by a private collection of books on the theme of the Soviet space flight, published in Russia and Europe between the 50s and 2000. The collection provides food for thought around the idea of the sensory revolution that aroused together with the dream of “abandoning the earth cradle”, in the words to Tsiolkovskij. The exhibition will intertwine with the sensory revolution that has occurred (and still occurs) at the “Istituto dei ciechi Cavazza” in Bologna. Born one hundred years ago, the “Cavazza Institute for the Blind” acts with the aim of giving blind and visually impaired people both the autonomy and the possibility of moving and accessing culture. Sensornaja Revolutija is curated by Lucilla Boschi and Fabio Fornasari. It is one of the events "Intorno a Revolutija" (Around Revolutija), a side-event of the exhibition “Revolutija” hosted at MAMbo, the Museum of Modern Art in Bologna.
