The exhibition project Transanatomyby Roberto Pugliese, focuses on the hybridization processes between man and machine, the animate and the inanimate, the natural and the artificial.
At the Archiginnasio Palace, on the marble table of the Anatomical Theatre, Pugliese has placed his sound installation Equilibrium Variant made of two mechanical arms that interact by means of a sound feedback system. The installation reproduces one of the ways the living beings use to develop themselves as subjects, that is to say the constant relation with the external environment. The steady and changeable movements of the two arms recall those of a human being when he uncertainly explores an unknown space.
Transanatomyis a project curated by Felice Moramarco, and promoted by ART CITY Bologna in collaboration with Istituzione Biblioteche di Bologna.
