The exhibition "Nino Migliori – Lumen" (Santa Maria della Vita: January 20th – April 23rd, 2017 - EXTENDED TO 01/05/2017) is a homage that the Bolognese photographer pays to the Renaissance work of art by Niccolò dell'Arca 'The mourning to the dead Christ'. Nino Migliori has always had an interest in exploring new photographic materials and languages and since 2006 he has been investigating the vision: photographing sculptures with a candlelight as the only light source.
This project consists of 34 unpublished pictures that the photographer donated to the Fondazione Carisbo Art and History Collections. The exhibition is by Graziano Campanini and is promoted by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna and Genus Bononiae. The exhibition catalogue (Edizioni Quinlan) with texts by Graziano Campanini and Eugenio Riccòmini and the reproduction of all the photographs on display is entirely devoted to the Bolognese project.
