From the 22nd September 2017 to the 21st January 2018, Palazzo Pallavicini houses the exhibition 'Nel segno di Manara'-Antologica di Milo Manara'. Seven sections of 130 artworks, which are tribute to one of the best-known and worldwide valued Italian contemporary authors. The exhibition includes Manara's comic books output, his work as illustrator for the media, the cinema, the world of advertising, comic illustrations such as Un Fascio di Bombe, practically ever seen, and in absolute preview, the second book of Caravaggio, not yet available in book shops. The exhibition is part of Bologna Welcome Card network. A special discount will be applied to the Card holders. Milo Manara was not just the father of erotic imaginary for generations since 1980s, but he reinvented the universe of comics with his unmistakable stroke, influencing and inspiring hundreds of authors in Europe, in the USA and Japan. The exhibit is a journey into the career of a great explorer for comic passionates, but also for those who, about Manara, only know the draw or the name.
