Anecdotes and fragments of transalpine history in a performance by Giangilberto Monti which is about how the French poetic song got through the 20th century. And in order to do that, Monti performs the best songs by French maudits par excellence: Boris Vian, Leo Ferré, Serge Gainsbourg, Jacques Brel and Georges Brassens, one of the main inspirers of Italian songwriters, as well as Renaud, the last of the classic transalpine maudits.
