Lorella Cuccarini plays the role of the ice queen, the cruel protagonist of the musical created and staged by Maurizio Colombi, inspired by the Persian fairy tale which was the source of Turandot by Giacomo Puccini. The queen is under a spell: who knows if Prince Calaf, played by Pietro Pignatelli, will be able to melt her cold heart? The modern-day version by Maurizio Colombi gives a new fabulous interpretation which is more in tune with children's sensitivity thanks to the presence of new characters, such as the three witches Tormenta ("Snow Storm"), Gelida ("Freezing") and Nebbia ("Fog") and a talking tree. Performance with special effects, video images and original music arranged and conducted by Davide Magnabosco.
