Start from Dante. Start again from Dante. Make his words resound with the voice of Chiara Guidi, long engaged in a personal search for the sound as a body, as a pliable material, as an instrument capable of evocation, to restore physical sound and rediscover the most intimate meaning of the spoken words. For Dante, the human voice (by Chiara Guidi) and the instrumental voice (of the cello by Francesco Guerri) intertwine and confront each other giving body to the episodes of the infernal journey and its characters, exploiting with virtuosic skill nuances, modulations and vocal timbres promptly echoed by cacophonies, pizzicato and chords of the cello. A new journey that the audience - indeed, the listeners - are invited to retrace through five songs of the first canticle of the Divine Comedy: the opening song, the V song (Paolo and Francesca), the canto XXVI (Ulysses), the canto XXXIII ( Ugolino) and canto XXXIV (Lucifer).
