TO HONOUR THOSE WHO FOUGHT AND LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE BATTLES FOR THE CONQUEST OF MONTE BELVEDERE AND MONTE CASTELLO ON 20TH AND 21ST FEBRUARY 1945 Two days packed with initiatives to celebrate the glorious history of the Battles of Monte Belvedere and Monte Castello. An event to remember the heroes and fighters who were the protagonists of February 1945. The programme: PARADE OF HONOUR ON SKIS Celebratory skiing parade open to everyone. The ski instructors of Corno alle Scale will lead the parade and hold the flags of the American, Brazilian and Partisan units who fought along the Gothic Line during the Second World War. The Alpine Choirs of Porretta Terme and Monte Pizzo will entertain the audience. ROUND TABLE ON THE GOTHIC LINE AND ON THE BATTLES OF MONTE BELVEDERE AND MONTE CASTELLO A meeting with the protagonists of the Corno alle Scale celebration representing the 10th Mountain Division, the Brazilian FEB, ANPI Partigiani, experts and other guests.
