November 5th & 6th the city will host Cafèstival, the testiest fair around. 1200m in which expositors, conferences, shows, a museum area and much more will gather together to celebrate the most famous drink in the world.

Cafestival is the new fair created to present coffee and the world surrounding it in a whole new light. A journey to rediscover the beloved drink, during which we will learn about those who produce coffee, those who succeeded in making a business out of it and how coffee has been the star in culture, art, literature and movies.
On November 5th and 6th the rooms of Palace Albergati (Zola Predosa) will fill up with the perfume of coffee and host the event created by the communication agency from Bologna “Comunicatori su Misura”. Two days during which everyone will be able to taste all the different sorts of coffee, join the cooking shows, assist to the exhibitions of ice cream masters and relive the biggest moments of coffee in the history of advertisement from the ‘50s until now, and in movies and music videos as well.
Of course we couldn’t organize a coffee fair without a museum area organized by Caffè Cagliari, Wega and many others, where you will find antique coffee machines and be able to taste and buy the different kinds of the black bean. But that’s not all: kids will have their own special spot, where they will play and interact with their peers in coffee themed workshops in the “Chicco Chicco area”.
Another highlight of the event will be the different conferences (30 minutes each) hosted by personalities like Claudio Magris and Roberto Finzi, Donald Sasson, Silvia Evangelisti, Manuel Terzi, Lucio Del Piccolo, Francesco Barbagallo, Matteo Severgnini, Marco Prandi, Paolo Ferrari, Raul Melotto, Roberto Trevisan, Adriano Bassi and Franco Pezzini.
Thanks to its contents, Cafestival has obtained the patronage from the districts of Zola, the province and region of Emilia Romagna, besides the newspaper “il Resto del Carlino”, Confesercenti and the Chamber of Commerce of Bologna.
