Agricola was a Jewish aristocrat who followed the Christian religion and Vitale was his freedman. They lived during the 3rd century A.C. and died during the persecutions of Diocletian in 305 A.C. They are saints and were the first martyrs of the city. The itinerary retraces their lives through the visit of three fascinating evocative crypts, partially not usually accessible to the public. We will see the places where they lived, suffered martyrdom and were buried.
