A full day visiting small companies manufacturing local traditional products. Private car transfer to a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese factory and optional visit to the production process. Transfer to a Parma Ham production factory with light tasting session. To follow, lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, tour of a Modena balsamic vinegar production centre and a wine cellar. Return to Bologna
In the morning, food and wine tour of the city centre with a specialised guide and tasting sessions of local delicatessen and regional wine; the heart of Bologna’s centre is called Quadrilatero and hosts workshops, markets, food stores and a lot more, and embodies the history of the local food and wine excellence. In the company of an expert guide, the tourists will become familiar with local products by seeing them through the eye of a local guide – who will reveal their secrets – and the stories of salespeople and local producers. Free time for lunch and afternoon.
