Ca’ la Ghironda spontaneously originates from the love for life and from the feelings behind symbol, colour and matter.

At the time, up until the mid-1980s, the area on which Ca’ la Ghironda now stands was an agricultural compendium, with only two large poplars and a sparse vegetation; Ca’ la Ghironda was an area dedicated exclusively to agriculture and conducted with artisan methods, almost abandoned long since.

After a virtuous and passionate artistic intervention by Francesco Martani that lasted about twenty-five years, Ca’ la Ghironda has become a work of art, an accomplishment characterised by a continuous polymateric and aesthetic representation, a container of content for "art and nature".
And, although it is a work of art itself, Ca' la Ghironda is now used as a complete museum area"... for the promotion and dissemination of art and culture ...", consisting of an outdoor sculpture park, a botanical garden of naturalised and native flora, a spontaneous refuge for local fauna, a complex exhibition space, a fully equipped contemporary congress centre, a place for exhibitions and artistic activities, a laboratory and an active space for visual arts, schools, families, children, the elderly and the disabled.

Ca’ la Ghironda is a place open to all, a museum to experience and live with its services: the ModernArtMuseum, where art exhibitions, cultural initiatives, conferences and activities take place; the Ghironda Resort, where you can stay for short or long periods; the Giocondo Restaurant, where you dine with the hospitality and care that recalls the grandmothers of the past.
And if really "not the strength, but the beauty, the true one, will save the world" (F. Dostoevskij), we believe that the prodigious accomplishment of this Work has contributed to giving an important example of continuity to Love and to Life
