BolognaPromenade raccomended
The 17th century was the century of the violin, due to a new generation of composers-violinists (from Biagio Marini to Marco Uccellini), the Sonata took on a stable and 'modern' appearance. The concert by the violinist Enrico Onofri and the Imaginarium Ensemble, the ensemble of ancient instruments that he founded, is entitled, not by chance, "Seicento!" and suggests a concrete but at the same time passionate itinerary through the territories of the "solo violin sonata". From the Pantheon we cannot miss the "elected" names of Marini, Uccellini, Fontana and Stradella.
